Everyone Can Succeed, but You have to Start

Sometimes it can be intimidating to accept a helping hand and get into a recovery program. At Life House you'll know your welcome and among friends from the 1st day.

No matter where you are in your recovery journey, we will help you connect with the level of care that truly fits your needs. We partner only with providers we trust and respect, ensuring every referral supports your long‑term stability and growth. If your needs fall outside our scope, we will work within our network to help you find a program or setting that is the right match for you.

Sober Living Environment

Our sober living homes follow a true community-based model that supports the whole person. Residents are encouraged to engage fully in their environment—from actively supporting their housemates, to being positive, responsible neighbors, to building strong connections within local recovery communities.

We believe recovery thrives in relationships, so we create opportunities for residents to form new friendships, strengthen their support networks, and practice healthy, sober interactions as they build a new life.

More Details

We currently operate four housing units, each with two shared bedrooms, accommodating up to two residents per room. Our program serves adult men (18+) who are actively engaged in an outpatient treatment program with a licensed provider of their choice. As part of participation, residents must receive case management services through their selected provider to support ongoing recovery and stability.

Admission requires a minimum of 30 days of sobriety and a clean urine drug screen prior to entry. These standards help ensure a safe, supportive, and recovery‑focused living environment for everyone in our community.

More Details

Many recovery residences make it difficult for residents to secure employment because of rigid, all‑day therapeutic schedules. At Life House Recovery, we take a different approach. We encourage clients to work with outpatient providers who offer flexible group times—such as morning or evening options—so they can maintain a consistent 8–10 hour window each day for full‑time employment.

We are also actively building partnerships with employers and vocational programs to expand job opportunities and support residents in re‑entering the workforce with confidence and stability

Independence

Our housing units operate through a primarily self‑governed model built on peer accountability and democratic decision‑making. While we establish the core policies, procedures, and safety standards necessary to maintain a secure and supportive healing environment, each unit has the freedom to create its own house rules through a majority‑vote process.

We remain actively involved and available at all properties, but we also expect every resident to uphold the values of integrity, responsibility, and doing what’s right—even when no one is watching.

Mandatory weekly house meeting provide the platform to address concerns and risks before they get carried away.

Informed Decisions and Intake Process

Before admission, you will have the opportunity to review all program expectations, including full transparency around costs, requirements, and house rules. We want every resident to make an informed decision and feel confident about what to expect.

As part of the screening process, we conduct an interview, review your treatment engagement, and require a clean urine drug screen prior to acceptance. We will walk through all details of residency together so there are no surprises.

Once accepted, you’ll complete a brief orientation, meet your housemates through guided introductions, and receive support getting settled in. Our goal is to make sure your transition is smooth and that your immediate needs are addressed from day one.

Around the Clock Access to Mental Health Professionals

Often times we self-medicate to try and balance a condition we aren't aware of. Unfortunately, we use addictive drugs in place of prescription medicine prescribed by a doctor and end up creating more problems internally and externally. Our goal is put you with one of our experts and give you the chance to address the underlying conditions that keep you trapped in the cycle.
